The MSCBA commissioned an Elevator study for Hoosac Hall and Berkshire Towers from VDA Consulting. The study indicated the Berkshire Towers elevators should be considered for a long term modernization within the next two to four years. Due to recurring maintenance issues with both A and B Towers elevators in early March 2020 we are proceeding with renewal design immediately. This renewal/replacement is being planned for May 2021. MSCBA Has contracted with VDA and Livermore Edwards for the elevator design. The General Contractor D.A. Sullivan was chosen under Chapter 149.
