The Massachusetts State College Building Authority (MSCBA) plans, designs, finances, constructs, and manages residential and student activity facilities on the campuses of the State University and Community College systems.

• 32,150 fall 2022 full-time equivalent enrollment for undergraduate and graduate students  in the State University System
• 34,491 fall 2022 full-time equivalent enrollment in the Community College System
• 11,596 students living in State University on-campus housing (39%)
• 54 residential complexes on the State University campuses owned by the MSCBA
• 110 buildings on the State University campuses owned by the MSCBA
• 5.5 million square feet of space on the State University campuses owned by the MSCBA
• Fall 2022 State University residence hall system occupancy: 77.5%
• 6,481 new residential beds added since 2002 (an increase of 64.4%) on the State University campuses
• Two Community College projects financed by the Authority in 2014 and 2017
