The Massachusetts State College Building Authority (MSCBA), in partnership with the Massachusetts College of Art & Design (MassArt), is seeking an experienced, qualified property management firm to manage operations, maintenance and marketing of summer and conference business for three residence halls (total 919 student beds) at the MassArt campus on behalf of the Authority and MassArt; the College will retain full responsibility for student life matters and discipline. This Request for Qualification Statements (RFQ) seeks statements from property management firms interested in managing MassArt’s residence hall operations in Boston, Massachusetts.
The goal of this process is to short-list up to five firms qualified to deliver Property Management Services. The short-listed firms will then be invited to provide detailed Proposals, including Fee Schedules. This RFQ describes the services being sought, the unique characteristics of the residence halls, the building operations, the roles and responsibilities of the property manager, and the procurement process. The initial term of the management agreement will be three (3) years with the option for two additional three-year renewal terms. The initial term would begin Summer 2022.
