Shea-Durgin - Phase 3 Renovations - 412-05 BRI

Shea-Durgin Hall is undergoing major renovations to its bathrooms and adjacent common areas.  The Building Authority selected Integrated Design Group and Lee Kennedy Company as the Design and Construction Management Firm Team for this project.  The Trade Contractors were pre-qualified in February and again in November of 2005.  The trades were subsequently bid in June, 2005, and January-February of 2006.  Work started in the Summer of 2005, and is scheduled to be completed by August of 2007.

New Residence Hall - 447-05 BRI

The Building Authority is building a new 408-bed residence hall consisting predominantly of 4-bed suites and 1 residence director.  Ancillary requirements include expansion of dining service with 320 seats and satellite servery, and provision of conference/student life facilities.  Estimated Construction Cost is $28.5 Million.  The Authority selected Dimella Shaffer Associates, Inc. and Walsh Brothers as the Design and Construction Management Firm Team for this project.  The Trade Contractors were pre-qualified in October of 2005.  The trades were subsequently bid in June and July of 2006.  Work started in the Summer of 2006 and is scheduled to be completed by September of 2007.

 Residence Halls Renovations - 465-05 BRI


Major renovations are taking place at Pope, Scott and Miles DiNardo Halls.  The Building Authority has selected Pfeufer/Richardson Architects and Consigli Construction Company, Inc. as the Design and Construction Management Firm Team for this project.  Work for this project is scheduled to start May 2007, and complete September 2007.
