Q: How can I get on campus housing?

Q: Where is your office?
A: We are located in the leather district of Boston, near South Station and the Mass Pike. Our Address is 136 Lincoln Street, Boston, MA 02111

Q: Do you operate the residence halls?
A: No, the state colleges operate the residence halls and other facilities.

Q: How many students do you house?
A: We house 12,000 students at 9 campuses statewide.

Q: Do you develop buildings that are not residence halls?
A: Our enabling legislation permits us to develop buildings which may include dining, athletic, cultural, health care, parking, and other building types, all of which are financed through project revenue.

Q: What is the average rent?
A: The average rent for a traditional double room for the academic year (9 months) is $4,733, $2,366 per semester, or $526 per month.

Q: Are you funded by tax dollars?
A: No, the MSCBA is revenue financed and receives no direct appropriation from the Commonwealth.
